Beaming White GTA West is a mobile, safe, affordable and effective method for cosmetic teeth whitening serving the Georgetown, Milton, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Acton areas.
Teeth whitening is one of the simplest cosmetic procedures, and our trained staff can help you see the results you desire. Simply, our peroxide gel is activated by an accelerator, whitening the teeth on a molecular level. The most practical accelerator is a lamp using cold blue light with a wavelength of around 500 nanometers. This wavelength of light is ideal for accelerating the whitening process of different peroxides, such as hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide. It is also a perfectly safe treatment, undergone by tens of thousands of people per year.
The procedure is very simple. A trained whitening assistant instructs you to paint a peroxide gel onto your teeth, using a pen like device. A blue cold light lamp is placed directly in front of your open mouth and runs for 15-20 minutes. Results are impressive! A 15-20 minute treatment yields an improvement of between 2-7 shades. The more treatments you do, the whiter your teeth get!
It is important to note that not all lamps and gels are created equal. Even lamps with similar wavelengths will not produce the same results. Although the wavelength is important, the power output and intensity of the light produced by the lamp are very important too. The stronger the output and intensity, the quicker the gel is activated, which means that you get more action over a certain period of time. The temperature of the light is important for your comfort – the light must be cold. Some lamps produce warm or hot light that can burn your face, and it is not as effective at activating the peroxide in the gel.
